Clarion-Little Toby Access

There are 7 places where parking is available for trail access.  The letter after each name corresponds with the letters on the Trail Map.

Ridgway Trailhead, Mile 0 (A) Located one block off of Main Street in Ridgway at the intersection of West Street and Center Street, Extended.  The trailhead has a covered pavilion with picnic tables, a parking area, a bulletin board with trail info and a pipe where donations towards trail maintenance can be made.  Additional parking is available on nearby streets.

Ridgway Borough Treatment Plant: Mile 1 (B) On Maine Lane, just off of Portland Mills Road/PA 949, about a mile southwest of Ridgway.  There is a large rock which is the sign for the Treatment Plant, turn right onto Maine Lane.  This is not an official access point, but there are a few parking spots in the grass just outside the gate for the treatment plant (don’t go inside the gates).  There are no picnic tables at this location.

Island Run, Mile 2.6 (C) On Portland Mills Road/PA 949, 1.4 miles from the Treatment Plant sign, just after a log cabin on the right..  There is parking for3 or 4 cars.

Carman Siding, Mile 7.8 (I) At the intersection of Portland Mills Road/PA 949, and Game Commission Road (turn left onto Game Commission Road), 6.4 miles past the Treatment Plant sign.  Located near the ghost town of Carman, where Little Toby Creek joins the Clarion river.  There is parking for a few cars.  If it is full, continue on Game Commission Road to the Croyland access point.

Croyland CCC, Mile 8.5 (K) Also on Game Commission Road (which is on the left, 6.4 miles past the Treatment Plant sign) this access point is .7 miles from Portland Mills Road/PA 949.  As you enter the Game Commission maintenance yard, bear right to get to the access point (there is a sign).   There is parking for 8 to 19 cars.

Jenkins Run, Mile 15.8 (U) Located at the end of 7th Avenue Extended about 3 miles from the intersection of 7th Avenue and McCullough Street in Brockway.  This is an undeveloped access point with limited parking.

Brockway Trailhead, Mile 18 (W) Located in Brockway on 7th Avenue, near the intersection with McCullough Street. The trailhead has a covered pavilion with picnic tables, a parking area, and a pipe where donations towards trail maintenance can be made.
